Join us for "A Constellation of Stories and Songs." This event is FREE and open to all children and families--residents, neighbors and visitors alike. Call Osterville Library at 508-428-5757 for more information.
The program will involve the audience in a variety of cultural traditions, sharing stories and songs about the sun, moon, stars and more. This participatory concert is a delight for all ages. Hear how the stars came to be in the sky, why the bear missed the train, sing a dancing dog to sleep with a starry lullaby and be prepared to sing, move and dance. There will even be a short lesson in how to play the spoons.

•Small Singers & Shakers with Stacey Lake
Wednesday, 29 July at Centerville Library, 4:30 p.m.Small Singers and Shakers is a music and movement class for children and their parent or caregiver. The class is a mix-aged class ranging from ages 0- 5. Your child will be introduced to new songs weekly, as well as repeat familiar ones to build routine as well as comfort. They will make their own music with various musical instruments, as well as move about to the beat of the music. Every child is a musical one they just need to be given the opportunity!

•"Blast Off with Thomas the Chimp and Other Tales and Tunes" with Storyteller Alicia Quintano

Monday, 3 August at Centerville Library, 1:30 p.m. Kindergarten and up.Alicia Quintano will perform "Blast Off with Thomas the Chimp and Other Tales and Tunes," a program of stories and songs for children and families on 3 August. An "itinerant storyteller par excellence" (Woodstock Times, NY), Alicia has traveled to 38 states, performing in libraries, elementary schools, universities, theatres, festivals and on the radio. Her original stories are "funny, touching and universal" (WBAI-FM, NYC), and her songs bring a smile to audiences of all ages.
