Wednesday,
29 April, from 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Tickets
are $25 and are available at the Library
Come
to the Library's fifth
annual spring fundraiser - a wine event - being held at
Cotuit
Liquors...
Enjoy
a fine wine-tasting sponsored by Cotuit Liquors and Uncorkedonline.com.
Marstons Mills caterer Nibbles-n-Sips is preparing hot hors d'oeuvres
for you to savor during the evening.
Peruse our selection of wonderful silent
auction items and bid on your favorites. Listen to the sweet harmonies
of the Cape Sound barbershop quartet as you mingle with your friends
and neighbors. Don't forget to put your name and number on your ticket
and enter it into the raffle!
There will be two tables for tasting,
each with knowledgeable pourers. Furthermore, well-known expert Wendy
Koder (a.k.a. "Wendy the Wine Lady") will be there to discuss
the wines in further detail and answer any of your questions. Guests
will receive special discounts from Cotuit Liquors on featured wines:
- 2 bottles = a 5% discount
- 6 bottles = a 10% discount
- 12+bottles = a 20% discount
These discounts will be extended to
non-sale wines throughout the store as long as one of the featured
wines is included in your purchase. Standard store discounts will
be applied otherwise (10% discount on 12 or more bottles). Even better,
Cotuit Liquors will donate 10% of wine sales by paid guests to the
Marstons Mills Public Library!

This
special evening is a fundraiser for the Library, and many businesses
and individuals have donated materials and services to help make it
a success. We'd like to point out that our supporters aren't just from
Marstons Mills but also from Osterville and other villages on the Cape,
making this event a great opportunity to "buy locally." Please
keep our sponsors in mind the next time you're in need of gifts, services
or a great meal, and let them know you're aware of their sponsorship
of the Library.
