How to use this site

This is a new version of our Web site, so until you're familiar with it, here are some tips:

The menu bar on the left has links to

  • the CLAMS catalog
  • information about the Library (hours, directions, policies; staff and volunteers)
  • upcoming and continuing programs and events at MMPL
  • a whole host of online resources (periodical and reference databases; local and regional external sites; subject table for easy Web surfing)
  • our Youth Services pages (MMPL Kids! and *click*, our YA page)
  • information on non-print based activities that MMPL offers, plus links to virtual tours and music/movie-making sites

You can access a 24-hour reference service by clicking the "Mass Answers" button.

Clicking on the animated image will take you to a page relating the history of the current Library.

To return to the home page from within the site, click the "HOME" graphic, button or link (depending on where you are in the site). To return to this page, click the "How to use this site!" graphic. If you want to find out about volunteer opportunities at MMPL, click the VOLUNTEER graphic at the bottom right of the page.

Remember, the site is still under construction, so some things may not work perfectly. Please feel free to let us know if something isn't working right!
